Matthew has been at the forefront of creating specification accurate replica mines, aerial bombs and other munitions since the early 1980s. Initially with Miltra, in 1990 he moved to the associated company Security Design and Development whose principle focus is on creating X-ray correct, inert replicas of IEDs including the explosive and detonator components and anti-terrorist equipment. Matthews work in the design and manufacture of replicas dictates significant research into munition development trends and use to ensure the matching of product with the needs of end users.
