Ben Remfrey, IMCSE Council Member, Founder of Ukraine EOD (an IMCSE supported charity) and Managing Director of MAT Kosovo EOD & ERW Training, funded by Jersey Overseas Aid, manages the training of Ukrainian men and women to neutralise Russian unexploded munitions. Prior to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia on 24 February 2022 there were no women serving as Ukraine EOD Operators, now they are instrumental in mitigating the residual risk posed by the 60% of Russian delivered munitions that fail to detonate on delivery.
