Andrew served 18 years in the British Army Royal Engineers with military engineer and EOD units undertaking both international operational and instructor roles. Subsequently joining the Royal New Zealand Engineers he is engaged in the design, development and evaluation of EOD training. During 6 years operational deployment with Humanitarian Mine Action Organisations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Southern Iraq, Lebanon, Libya and Syria he developed his liaison, administrative, practical and mentoring expertise.
