Alistair Craib

Alistair had a varied career as a military engineer in the British Army, including five years in Northern Ireland and nine continuous years in various EOD roles; operations, training and equipment requirements. During his two years operational work he dealt with ten bombs in three different countries. On leaving the army he consulted extensively on EOD matters for the UN, EC and many governments. He was the EOD and Demining Advisor to DFID for eleven years and the Strategic Advisor to the UK government for the clearance of the Falkland Islands for nine years. He has been extensively involved in many EOD-related research and development projects. He co-founded IMCSE and remains on the Council.
